I am a Graduate of Middlesex University, where I was awarded a BA in Law and Sociology. Having decided to become a Lawyer, I undertook the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. Upon completing my training in Surrey, I was Admitted as a Solicitor in l999. I commenced my Practice as a Solicitor with a national firm of Solicitors based at their Offices in Hampshire. I undertook extensive Legal Expenses Insurance work for one client, a national corporation, with a varied Caseload which included handling Road Traffic, Product Liability, Public Liability, Employers’ Liability and Industrial Disease Claims. I also assisted on Multi-Track Cases involving Fatal Accidents and Catastrophic Injuries. I acquired great experience and expertise of working on high value Personal Injury Cases. I then worked in North Yorkshire, undertaking Matrimonial and Personal Injury work, before joining Towells in 2005.
As a Senior Solicitor with Towells, I have dealt with complex and high volume Personal Injury, Industrial Disease and Clinical Negligence Claims. The work has included Birth Injury to a child, Asbestos-related Disease, Repetitive Strain Injury, Road Traffic, Fatal Accidents and Overseas Claims. During my Practice as a Solicitor, I have had the conduct of a great many Claims of substance, involving Clinical, Neurological and Psychiatric Issues. I am committed to maintaining my specialisation and expertise and in every single Case am equally determined to provide my clients with the best possible service.
Outside of my work as a Solicitor, I derive great pleasure from cross country riding and have two horses in stables. It is a wonderful experience to ride in the North Yorkshire Moors. I also enjoy long distance walking. I maintain a keen interest in art history and travel. I have also been tempted by the occasional adventure sport, to include diving with sharks. I have travelled extensively and one of my priorities is to continue to do so. |
