Over the course of the last 25 years, I have acquired very considerable experience and, indeed, expertise in handling Litigation. In the early 1980s, I would attend before the Master and Court Registrars on a regular basis. I assisted with Personal Injury Litigation, to include preparing Cases for Hearing in the Court of Appeal. I also attended with Counsel upon Industrial Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal Cases. I worked for large firms of Solicitors, handling high volume Personal Injury and Industrial Disease Claims on behalf of Trade Union and private clients. I developed particular expertise in handling Claims for Vibration White Finger, Repetitive Strain Injury and Industrial Dermatitis.
In 2000, I joined Towells in Wakefield. Subsequently, I have had particular responsibility for handling Cases at every stage of the British Coal Vibration White Finger Litigation, which are dealt with under the Claims Handling Agreement. I have developed a great rapport with our clients and have nothing but respect for all of the men who served in the Mining Industry. It will be my intention to continue to build on that experience and to acquire even greater specialisation in Industrial Disease Litigation.
Outside of my employment, I spend a good deal of time in working on my new home. I also greatly enjoy walking, reading, going to the cinema and take a keen interest in current affairs. I love watching sport and am currently in training for the next World Cup. |
